P90X Lean Day 8: Core Synergistics and Weigh-In Wednesday

Yippee, 2 lbs! I was pleasantly surprised about this after a craptacular weekend of eating. This does make things a whole lot better, a newfound motivation if you will. I knew it would happen sometime, but I didn't know exactly how soon.
Anywho, we're back to the first day of the cycle again. Core Synergistics. Definitely a great video, probably my favorite of the videos in Phase 1. It's definitely a great way to start off the week! I'm starting to learn how to "Bring It" and engage my core during the exercises, but I'm not quite 100% there yet. I'm sure it will come, but just not as soon as I'd like (which would've been, oh, in the beginning). I somewhat put this in a "cardio" workout, even though it's not really. My heartrate does really go up and I do sweat like a nasty man, but it's a GREAT workout and I feel great now. I did have a slight problem with motivation and actually getting my lazy ass out of bed to do it, but after the first 10 minutes or so I was set. I still have a problem with Superman/Banana, but I think that's more out of motivation and will than it is strength. We'll test that theory next week!
