Well, the writers' strike is over. Am I glad? Yes. Did I miss my shows? Yes. Was it the end of the world that there weren't any new episodes on? No. I actually got some stuff done around the house instead of plopping my butt in front of the TV.
This strike was a bit interesting to me. People got so irritated that their shows weren't on, there were constant reruns, and we were bombarded with some (awful) reality TV. It's amazing how self-centered our society can be. On the message board I frequent, I was a little saddened by how many people were saying to just get it over with so they could watch new episodes again. Um, what about the writers? They were the ones getting screwed...
